We are pleased to announce that the next Humor Conference will take place at the historic Jagiellonian University in Kraków! It will be hosted by the Institute of English Studies, the oldest English Studies Department in Poland, which has just celebrated the centenary of its foundation.
The ISHS conference will merge with the HumorTap 4 conference as well as the 2nd Lafal Symposium, both biannual international humor conferences organized in Poland.
The Preliminary Conference schedule is ready for download here.
The organizers would like to thank everyone who have submitted their proposals for papers, workshops, posters and panels for the Conference. We do apologize for any inconvenience that our registration system might have caused.
In case of any further questions please contact the Conference Chair or the conference secretary.
Online registration is still open for anyone interested in attending.

Online registration will be open until June 20th.
On-site registration will be open on June 25th and 26th
The Conference schedule opens with Pre-Conference Tutorials (June 25th) for those participants who have had little previous exposure to humor research or want to look for new research ideas. Tutors are eminent humor researchers:
Christie Davies, Jessica Milner Davis, Giselinde Kuipers, Victor Raskin and Willibald Ruch.
The registration for Pre-Conference Tutorials will be open until the participant groups fill up.
It is possible to register for the tutorials only (without attending the entire Conference)!
Download and display the Pre-Conference Tutorials poster!
We recommend that the participants stay on for post-conference trips and evening events to be held on 30 June, as well as at least a few days into the following week, which will be full of cultural events (see Krakow).
Registration for trips is now open at: http://www.kongres.jordan.pl/en/articles-39/international-society-for-humor-studies-conference
